If you prefer the default settings, then you can immediately proceed with the conversion procedure after specifying the output profile and directory.Otherwise, you can modify audio and video properties when it comes to the encoder, resolution, frame rate, bit rate, sample rate and channel mode. Profiles can be added to a favorites list. Plus, you can restore settings to default.In addition, you can preview clips in a built-in media player and capture frames, trim them by size or time, duplicate, merge and crop items, as well as load subtitles, apply watermarks and add effects (e.g. odd interpolate).In the "Preferences" area you can change the temporary directory and interface language, specify the number of CPU cores to be used, as well as set Wondershare Video Converter Platinum to overwrite existing files.The video conversion application requires a high amount of system resources to complete a job in reasonable time. It is very responsive, supports keyboard shortcuts and includes a help file. The output videos have a good image and sound quality. No error dialogs have been displayed throughout our testing.
