NMC DTV

The first light-weight, all-digital PC compatible TV Software package with Middleware support for MHEG-5, MHP, BML and OCAP. MHEG-5 Middleware is included with the registered version of this software. Other Middleware implementations must be purchased separately. DVB-T, DVB-C and ATSC (Antenna and clear QAM digital cable) compatible. NMC DTV supports most tuner devices with compatible BDA drivers. Conditional Access (CA) decryption and Common Interface (CI) access are currently not supported. MPEG-2 and H.264 video playback, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, AAC and AC-3 audio playback (Requires compatible decoder not included with this software but usually provided with the TV Tuner hardware). Watch, record, pause, fast-forward and rewind live TV (MPEG-2) using MS Stream Buffer Engine (requires registration). Teletext, Subtitle and On-Screen Display for Channel and Event (Program) name. Detailed Transport Stream analysis of Program Service Information (PSI/SI) and DSM-CC Object Carousel in the Object Browser. MD API Support for more extensive Transport Stream analysis and enhanced features using MD API Plugins, such as vPlug. DSM-CC Object Carousel export to harddrive for later playback in NMC IS Browser (sold seperately). Interactive Services application execution. The Object Browser displays detailed Program Service Information (PSI/SI) from the current transport stream. All currently received Interactive Service applications are listed. The transmitted DSM-CC Object Carousel structure is shown in a browsable file system representation, including directories, files and stream event and dvb messages. The contents of the Data Carousel (DSI and DII Module information) will be added in an upcoming release. All-around, the most comprehensive source for detailed transport stream analysis, populated and updated in real-time.
