is a 3D race game where pilots guide their crafts through the streets of the fictitious city of Tanaka in the year 2525.
After a journey through space and time, you have reached the planet of Tanaka. Eons into the future, on the industrialized planet of Tanaka, a highly advanced society has developed. So small a world, and so competitive this society is, that the people of Tanaka take even their drive to work seriously... dead seriously. Only the fastest and fittest can survive on the streets of the planet's capital, Tanaka City. Every commute isn't just the daily grind to work, the entertainment starved and efficient people of Tanaka will make a race out of their most mundane tasks. And to the victor will go the spoils, and ... a chance to survive.
Tanaka's "missions" vary in difficulty and objective. Some races are run against the clock, others are duels or total carnage races where you must destroy the other pilots to emerge victorious. Another type of mission is the "escort" mission where you must guide another vehicle through the mean streets defending and protecting it from all others, until it reaches safety (the finish line). Upon completion of a race, the pilots in the top three spots are awarded prize money, which can be spent to purchase, equip, or upgrade their crafts.
Tanaka's vehicles are "smart" and highly configurable. You can choose from a variety of different cars, engines, missiles, mines, lasers, and shields to create the right combination for you. A skilled pilot will know how to choose equipment wisely, balancing weaponry and performance, to construct the perfect vehicle.
