A closer look at NTFSRatio
Since it’s the default way of managing files and folders on your computer, Windows comes with the default means of analyzing them with ease. When it comes to folders though, you can only view size for one at a time. Luckily, you can use specialized applications like NTFSRatio to inspect, and enlist them. First of all, the name is only because file based compression is supported by NTFS file system, but this doesn’t mean you can’t also analyze FAT file systems. The installation process offers to integrate the application in the context menu to make it easier to trigger an analysis, regardless of the location you’re in. By default, the application starts off in the system drive, with merely a couple of seconds taking to analyze it. Sure enough, it can start off in any other location, especially if you launch it from the context menu. Even so, there’s the possibility to quickly load a different folder using the browse dialog.
