Overview

What is ABarCode 2000 (for Access 2000)?

prints bar codes in any Microsoft Access report.

In depth

A closer look at ABarCode 2000 (for Access 2000)

ABarCode 99 converts a series of numbers and or letters into a series of bars of different sizes, so that a device such as a bar code reader, pen, CCD, or scanner can later read them. You must design your reports and labels with Microsoft Access, in the same way that you would do if you were not using bar codes.

The types of bar codes supported are: EAN-8, EAN-13, EAN-128, UPC-A, Code 39, extended Code 39, Code 128, ITF (Interleaved 2 of 5), and Postnet. All the characteristics are defined in the design of the report, including: type of bar code, direction, size, color, with or without human readable code, type of font, and other parameters.

Any information in your reports can be converted into bar codes. You may print several bar codes for the same record or label, even different types.
