Agenda : Store events in a virtual agenda, work with a calendar that allows navigation to the next or previous month, as well as edit or delete agenda entries
Agenda is a lightweight Windows application designed to help you store personal notes, entries or reminders in a virtual agenda.
Simple design
The tool copies the design of a real agenda. You are allowed to access a calendar and input custom notes. You can browse throughout the calendar by going to the next or previous month and view the current date displayed in the main window. If you click on a specific day of the week, the utility automatically reveals the current entries.
Store events in the agenda
You are given the possibility to add a new event in the virtual agenda by typing in the information directly in the primary window or pasting it from the clipboard. You can write one idea per line but you should write short entries because the GUI cannot be resized so it’s pretty difficult to read long text.Other important settings worth being mentioned enable you to modify or delete events from the agenda and run the program at Windows startup. On the downside, advanced features are not implemented in Agenda. You cannot perform searches after a certain entry, generate to-do lists, set up alarms, schedule tasks, and back up the database, just to name some options that can be found in professional diaries and organizers like Rainlendar Lite.Agenda is not a resource hog so you can keep it running in the background without having to worry that it burdens your computer’s performance.
Final words
To sum things up, Agenda is suitable when you want to quickly add reminders in an agenda. In case the time is not on your side when it comes to dealing with complex diaries/organizers, you can give this tool a try to see what it can do for you.
