Callers are greeted with a voice message from your modem, asking them to enter the four digit PIN number. If callers enter the correct PIN, they are told that their PIN is valid and to please wait while you are being alerted.

Your PC speakers play a ringing sound similar to that played by your phone, and the callers are asked to leave a message at the sound of the tone.

If you decide to answer the call, you simply pick up the handset from your phone and click the program's "Answer" button.

Ring-Leader Private Line automatically time- and date-stamps your messages, which are stored as WAV files; lets you control the volume; and enables you to set up master and temporary PINs.
