is a game in which you must analyze and match 30 word pairs and then classify the analogy type.
In depth
The game displays a grid with the word pairs. To begin drag and drop a word pair into the first analogy box. Then select a second word pair that you think is the same type of analogy and is the best possible match to the first word pair, and drag it into the second analogy box. For example the word pair "jam/fruit" can be correctly matched with the pair "ketchup/tomatoes". And "artist/sketches" would be matched with "author/writes".
Click on "Classify the Analogy" to see if you have made a correct match. If you have not made a correct match a dialog box box will tell you that the match is incorrect or that the analogy is correct, but it is not the best possible match. If you have trouble figuring out the analogies, look for clues in the definitions.
Once you have made the best match you must choose the correct type of classification (i.e. the relationship between the word pairs). Examples of classifications include relationships based on kind, part, symbol, product, antonym, etc.
