is an online aerial sport in which you compete to collect chains of balls.
Clusterball is designed to invoke the same adrenaline rush as Quake and Unreal, but replacing the spatter and gore with pure gameplay. You fly a ship over an open landscape, in which you can pick up balls from designated tracks, which form a visible chain behind the ship. The chain allows other players to assess the value of another player's ball chain, both in the game environment and on the radar screen. As it increases in length and value, the chain increases the ships drag factor, gradually slowing it down. The balls in the chain represent only a potential score. Until they are flown through the ring shaped goal in the Clusterball arena, do they then disappear and get converted to points.
Each competitive arena features a different landscape, like Egypt, Bora Bora, Stongehenge, Antarctica, and more. In each theme landscape, there are also warehouses containing equipment that allow you to tackle and interfere with other players. The equipment either affects the ship or its ball chain, and helps you prevent others from scoring points. By combining the feel and gaming experience from ball, flight, and racing games, Clusterball is totally unlike anything you've ever seen before.
