If you display them for all cells, they will automatically update as you enter numbers into the empty cells. And you can hide them when you dont want them. You can also use that space to enter your own notes if you prefer. You can restore a generated or entered puzzle to its original state if you need to start over, and the UnDo function allows you to unwind you entries one at a time, back to the original puzzle. Work on your puzzles in Excel or print them off (with or without hints) for your ride to work. Excel @ Sudoku works on all flavors of Microsoft® Excel from 97 to 2007 and on any version of Microsoft® Windows that supports these various flavors.
