Overview
is a full-featured recipe manager.
In depth
For each recipe, the program shows you the number of calories, and amount of protein, carbohydrate, fat, cholesterol, sodium, and fibre in each serving. It also calculates the recipe cost, and includes two user-defined nutrition fields. You can display two recipes side by side for food count and cost comparisons. You can export the nutrition database to a tab delimited ASCII file, and can import data to the nutrition database.
You can search your recipes by recipe name, partial name, category, sub-category, wildcard name, or by ingredients. The ingredient search lets you search for up to four ingredients at a time, with "and/or" logic for the search. You can also browse through the entire database of recipes.
Other features include a spell checker, a daily and weekly meal planner, eight cooking guides, customizable fonts and colors, five different print formats for your recipes, and more.
You can mark recipes to print, export, or delete, or to create a shopping list. You can import or export Meal-Master and MasterCook II recipes. You can also import recipes in Recipe Box format, import them from unstructured ASCII files, or cut and paste them from Web pages.
You can print "thumbnail" pictures on page one of your recipe. You can also print the recipe picture in the directions section of the printed recipe. You can create Web pages (which include attached pictures) from your recipes. HTML recipes generated by Recipe Processor can be imported.
Sample recipes are included.
