It learns a stock trading pattern from historical data, learns the relations between the stock and other stocks of the same industry, and gives buy/hold/sell advice. It features the ability to choose the investment strategy, a report on the trading model activity, and a profit take and stop loss points.

Historical data files can be automatically downloaded from the author's Web site and other Internet sources. NeuroStock can read data files generated by Microsoft Investor, www.quote.com, or you can create the files manually using Excel or any text editor. You will need daily high, low, close, and volume data for the last three to five years.
