The new song starts at volume zero while the old song is still playing. The new song's volume gets louder and louder. The old song gradually gets quieter and quieter until it disappears. You never get blank space between songs. The volume levels of played songs are normalized (made the same).

Furthermore, DJ Mix Lite's "Beatlock" technology analyzes your sound files to find the beats. It then matches tempo and beats to provide high quality songs transitions like you would find in a dance club.
