In depth

A closer look at AstroTray

It uses an intuitive key-, menu-, and toolbar-driven interface to easily manipulate its real-time sky. It includes center, zoom, unzoom, directional, and panning functions, along with atmospheric effects such as dynamic sky in four different projections, and any degree of azimuth or elevation.

AstroTray can also smoothly animate solar system objects in two modes against a stellar backdrop; create printable finder charts; and show constellations, DSOs, stars, and objects within the Solar System (in either point-source, spotlight, or photoplate display styles).
