In depth
A closer look at Simona Planner
The program uses a folder/file cabinet metaphor to organize the data. There are three sections: the Calendar, the Current Semester File Cabinet (where you create folders that represent the courses you are currently taking), and the Past Semester File Cabinet (where you can organize courses you have already taken). The program automatically calculates your GPA and your accumulated credits. You can display a progress graph of your GPA semester by semester, and use the hypothetical GPA calculator to input mock grades. The Calendar has a monthly view (which uses icons on the days of the month that you have reminders or appointments), as well as a daily view that displays all your test/paper reminders, appointments, and notes for the day. It also includes a phone book to keep track of friends.
