Overview
What is iMapR?
is a utility designed to help you create client-side image maps for Web pages.
In depth
A closer look at iMapR
To get started, you can drag and drop an image onto iMapR, open the file dialog to search for an image, or double click an IMAP file. Using drawing tools, you designate regions of the image that you want to link. All shapes drawn on the map remain in view until you are finished. With a left click in any map area, you can add an URL, a Target, or an ALT Tag (or delete the area). Right clicking brings up a context menu that lets you save the map in various ways, including to the clipboard, as an IMAP file, as HTML, as text, or in the original Web page. You can preview the creation in your default browser with the click of a button (without saving or leaving any stray files).
