helps you find and remove registry keys related to non-existing COM components.
Regfixer helps you find all the COM components that are not correctly registered on your machine and enables you to remove all data in the registry about them. Regfixer automatically backs up all keys it removes so you can always undo any changes.
This program is intended for use in a development and test environment for COM components. It helps you keep your registry in a consistent state which prevents errors caused by faulty registry entries.
Regfixer checks registered PROGID, CLSID, Typelib and Interface entries. When removing invalid CLSID entries the corresponding AppID is also removed. All invalid keys in each of these four categories are displayed and you can easily remove them.
