PC Private Eye can control your desktop video conferencing camera to detect motion and capture images while you are away. It can notify you by e-mail (with or without image attachments), or via your text-only pager.

The program features a built-in Web interface which allows remote viewing of recent snapshots, as well as the ability to grab new ones and modify various settings, such as motion detection sensitivity.

PC Private Eye also includes multiple camera support, scheduling capability, a Webcam feature which can update your Web site with snapshots based on time exposures or motion detection, and LAN support.
