is a logical extension to the XCOPY command, remaining faithfully compatible with it in the invocation syntax, yet adding numerous features.
XXCOPY lets you match a file's long name with its short one, back up a given directory incrementally, synchronize directories, control file attributes, and exclude directories or files from being copied through the use of wildcards.
You can qualify files by their time stamp (before, on, or after), copy hidden and system files, overwrite read-only files, flatten a directory tree into files in one directory, rebuild a flattened directory, and copy only a specific number of bytes.
In addition, XXCOPY includes a 16-bit version (XXCOPY16), and features over 80 command switches.
