is an identd (Identification Daemon).It is completely multi-threaded and can handle many simultaneous requests. It offers flood protection and it performs reverse DNS lookup on all requests. It can also log all events, such as requests, flooding, and startup/shutdown, and write the events to a log file.
The daemon is easy to setup and run using a command-line interface.
