AndScreen : An easy to use application that can capture images from your Android device display which supports both the system and recovery modes
AndScreen helps you take screenshots of your mobile phone's display and save them to your computer. Its compatibility is limited to the Android operating system, enabling you to capture snapshots of a phone's display in an easy manner.
Forthright approach and ease of use
All its functions are neatly comprised within the same window, which surprisingly does not make it look cluttered. On the contrary, it provides one-click access to each option, making it accessible and easy to use.In order to make it work, you have to make sure that the proper USB drivers are installed and that your mobile phone has the 'USB debugging mode' enabled. Otherwise, AndScreen might not be able to detect its presence.
Profile support and output file types
AndScreen comes with a generous set of predefined profiles that you can use, with specific screen resolutions for each phone model. If your device is not found among the listed alternatives, you can create a new profile, assign it a custom name and enter the screen resolution. Thus, next time you want to capture snapshots of the display, you won't have to go through the configuration process, but simply load an existing profile. The application can save screenshots in various formats, namely PNG, TIF, GIF and JPG and integrates a drop-down list for choosing the desired resolution, depending on your phone's display (HVGA, VGA, WVGA, FWVGA). Alternatively, you can manually enter the screen resolution, but this options is less recommended.
