is designed to provide practice for students taking introductory high school, Advanced Placement, or college level general chemistry.
The intent is to provide the student with practice in drawing Lewis dot formulas that follow the octet rule. A 3D representation can also be seen after the structural formula has been completed.
Two predesigned sets of compounds are included, which can be used as classroom exercises. A text file called ORGANIC.LAB is also included, which provides the student with a number of organic compounds.
You can create compounds up to 26 atoms in size, and organic compounds can also be designed with several ring compounds.
In addition, molecules and structures can be created, and saved to the Clipboard.
