Screen Capturer is a program with a pretty self-explanatory title - it lets you take snapshots in several simple methods. But you can also record the activity of your monitor to a video file.Once installed, you will have to input your email address in order to obtain a serial number and access the tool. The interface of Screen Capturer is simplistic and easy to navigate through.The tool lets you capture the full screen, current window or region when it comes to screenshots or animations. The output can be stored in the clipboard, image or movie file, email or printer.In addition, you can go to the "Settings" area to specify the default folders for images and animations, as well as include the mouse pointer and enable the tool to open the file after capture.Furthermore, you can specify the video output format (AVI or WMV) and configure audio and video settings regarding compression, frames per second, format and others.On top of that, you can select the region (mouse-draw area or resizable rectangle window), reconfigure keyboard shortcuts, change the interface language, and so on. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.The simplistic software takes up a moderate amount of system resources, manages to keep a good image quality and didn't freeze or crash during our tests.
