ExifStatistics is a portable software program that gives you the possibility to analyze the EXIF information of your JPEG, TIFF and RAW images obtained from digital cameras. This includes the total number of pictures matching a specific configuration when it comes to the focal length, aperture, ISO, exposure time, and camera.

Portable utility with an intuitive GUI

Since there's no installation involved, you can drop the downloaded files in a custom directory on the disk or move them to a USB flash disk in order to seamlessly launch ExifStatistics on any computer, thanks to the fact that there aren't any prerequisites involved. More importantly, it doesn't add new entries to the Windows registry that could contribute to OS stability issues afterward.When it comes to the interface, the application adopts a large window with a neatly organized structure, where you can begin by selecting a folder to scan for supported image files. Any of the three formats can be excluded from the search.

Scan images to view EXIF data

Once the analysis is over, you can find out the number of total found pictures, along with total images and percent coverage matching a specific focal length and focal length 35mm, aperture (f/), ISO, exposure time (seconds), along with the camera make and model.Information can be filtered by taking into account or excluding any camera make and model. It can be exported to HTML or tab-delimited TXT format by specifying the output directory, filename and format.

Evaluation and conclusion

It didn't put a strain on the computer's performance in our tests, using low CPU and RAM. It worked smoothly, thanks to the fact that it didn't hang, crash or indicate any errors. On the other hand, it has limited options.For example, it cannot reveal the name of files matching a particular EXIF configuration. Nevertheless, ExifStatistics gets the job done and can be easily used.
