Psdto3D is a lightweight graphic editor whose purpose is to help you design 3D images and preview them with or without 3D glasses.

Portable running mode

Taking into consideration that Psdto3D is a portable tool, you can drop it on portable media devices. It does not store entries in your Windows registry so you can uninstall it using a simple deletion task. Gaining access to the program’s features requires only opening the executable file.

User interface

The GUI reveals a clean feature lineup. The help manual is available only in Chinese, so you need to experiment with the dedicated parameters in order to understand how the utility works.You may import files from PSD file format and export the images to TIFF, GIF or PSD file format. The tool comes with support for several PSD files that you can use as samples to your projects.

Editing and previewing options

Psdto3D gives you the possibility to view all layers included in a PSD file individually. Layers are stored in a table, along with information about the group, offset and value.In addition, you can zoom in or out of the layers, draw user-defined lines, delete lines and layers, cut, copy or paste data, undo your actions, as well as preview the 3D image in the main window and start or stop the animation. You can also activate a special mode in order to preview data with the aid of 3D glasses.Tests have shown that the application carries out a task quickly and without errors. It doesn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered.

All things considered, Psdto3D doesn’t come packed with the most advanced tools for helping you manage and process 3D images but it provides a straightforward approach for editing layers.
