is a weather analysis tool designed to let you view current weather conditions around the world.Designed for serious weather hobbyists, storm chasers, pilots, climatologists, and meteorologists, the program provides a wide variety of contouring, climatology, and calculation features for surface and upper level data.
You can create (and export) detailed background maps of any location in the world, with a two-mile geography resolution. Periodically downloaded surface data regenerates all maps. The program lets you overlay terrain data on your map, and change station plot models and weather symbols. You can plot "watches" and "warnings," or position your mouse over a county to view bulletins. Charts size is unlimited.
The program imports and processes METAR, SAO (old airways), rawinsonde (TTAA/TTBB), FD winds aloft, synoptic, ship synoptic, buoy, SD radar, RCM NEXRAD radar data, ETA and NGM forecast data, and graphics and bulletins from EMWIN. It displays temperature, dewpoint, mixing ratio, wind chill, heat index, altimeter setting, sea level pressure, theta-e, relative humidity, IFR/MVFR areas, wind grid, wind speed, vorticity, geostrophic winds, and more. You can even contour the advection of any of these fields.
