brings real-time voice communication to your favorite multiplayer games played over the Internet or a LAN.
With Battlefield Communicator you can communicate in real-time with your teammate(s), and they will hear your voice message mixed in with the sounds from the game. The program supports IPX and TCP/IP protocols and it automatically adjusts to variable connection qualities in order to provide the maximum possible speech quality with the minimum possible time lag. The voice activated speech transmission offers configurable sensitivity levels so that Battlefield Communicator uses a minimal amount of bandwidth when you are not speaking.
Battlefield Communicator runs unobtrusively in the System Tray. The status dialog box provides a current list of players and the status of their connection. It supports today's popular games, such as Quake II, GLQuake, Starcraft and Unreal. And it can be made compatible with additional games using the GameLink editor.
With this client users can host and connect to peer to peer sessions involving 2 players. Additionally clients can connect to voice conferences of up to 32 players hosted by the Battlefield Communicator Server.
