One of the most notable features of RoboRumble is the unique method of creating battle units. Instead of simply offering a palette of pre-designed units, RoboRumble lets you assemble your own battle equipment from different available components. For example, you can build a battle unit by choosing from chassis components like tracks, wheels or air cushions and mount it with a weapon like a Laser, MG or Rocket. This method greatly increases the number of variations in your arsenal and adds a creative element missing in most similar games.
Your computerized opponent is programmed with sophisticated artificial intelligence, so he recognizes and adapts to your style of play.
The high-level graphic engine allows features such as real-time lighting, shadow effects, real-time terrain morphing, transparencies and particle-based explosions.
