What is Block Shifter?
The playing field is filled with colored blocks.
In depth
A closer look at Block Shifter
The object of the game is to remove all the blocks from the playing field. Do this by swapping and shifting blocks so that three blocks of the same color form a vertical or horizontal line.
When three blocks form a line, they are removed from the playing field and any blocks above them drop. To swap two blocks just position the mouse over two adjacent blocks and click the left mouse button.
To shift a row or column, click on one of the arrow buttons surrounding the game field.
If your system has 256+ colors, you can easily switch to beautiful ray-traced granite and marble blocks. If your monitor is only capable of 16 colors, use the simple blocks as shown below.
