is a graphical authoring tool for easily creating interactive multimedia publications.
It can be used to create electronic textbooks, disk-based newsletters, interactive brochures, etc. To produce an electronic publication in NeoBook, you simply create an interface by placing text, images, and other elements onto a blank screen page. Text, graphics, animation and audio files are easily imported into the program and favorite editing applications can be linked to make changes to imported elements without exiting NeoBook. Tools are included to add rules, decorative fonts, control buttons, additional pages and other graphic elements.
Once the interface is completed, the publication can be compiled to produce a stand-alone executable (EXE) program which may be distributed royalty-free. Compiled publications are DOS-based, which allows them to be run even on older 8088 and 286 systems or as DOS applications under Windows or OS/2. Publications may even be configured to launch other software applications from a command or screen button.
