You can configure ScreenTaker to take snapshots of the entire screen, top window, client area of the top window (top window without the frame and titlebar), an arbitrary rectangle, or a rectangle with a predefined size.

Screen shots can be saved in BMP, JPG, PCX, TGA, and TIFF file formats.

The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
