Advanced Dialer is a handy Taskbar tool for enhancing the dial-up networking features in Windows 95. When you load any application that requires a connection, Advanced Dialer automatically dials and connects. You can create scripts to automate any log-in processes. You can also have scheduled connections occur at specific times. Upon connection (or disconnection), you can automatically have Advanced Dialer launch specific applications, such as your e-mail application or Web browser.

Advanced Dialer has powerful logging capabilities which enable you to track, report and graph the time and money spent on any Internet account. Keystrokes can now be sent to a window, actions can be performed before dialing, and a disconnect can be scheduled. In addition, the online time is now is displayed as an icon in the taskbar tray. Advanced Dialer can also periodically ping your Internet Service Provider in order to avoid dropped connections.
