QuickSpot lets you set unique comparison-criteria. You can compare specific lines or all lines, narrow the comparison across specific positions per line, and filter out source-code comments. You can also skip a number of lines repeatedly, or compare different ranges in the files.
File and directory editing features allow you to quickly fix the discrepancies found by QuickSpot. In addition, there is a find/replace option and support for copying/merging text between the two files. In the directory-section, you can delete, rename, move or copy files.
The graphical display now includes a toolbar and a variety of display options (such as color settings) for the files and discrepancies. Binary files as well as text files are supported.
