Overview

What is DocBuilder?

allows you to easily create HTML help files.

In depth

A closer look at DocBuilder

DocBuilder is used in conjunction with the Microsoft HTML Help Workshop to automate the process of creating a user friendly version of your documentation. Just follow a few simple rules when writing out the comments in your code, then punch a few buttons to get a HTML help system for your application.

It is fully automated and works with any programming language that supports comments. It even automatically generates linked class hierarchy diagrams.

DocBuilder first goes through and processes all of the formatted comments, generates HTML files, and then generates project, index, and content files for the HTML Help Workshop. Then you just compile the project to produce the help file.
