Sun Microsystem's Java Plug-in software lets users specify that their browser use Sun's implementation of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) instead of Netscape or Microsoft's default Java Virtual Machine (JVM). The plug-in provides full JDK support, including support for JavaBeans and RMI.
