It works by checking a list of input folders at regular time intervals and updating output folders with any new or modified files, thus "mirroring" your important folders.
Idem is distinguishable from other mirroring or clustering products by its ability to fully preserve Macintosh filenames and structures stored on a Windows NT 4.0 Server running SFM on NTFS partitions.
