Once 2ndBackup is installed, a new context menu appears In Windows Explorer, or from any Open or Save As box. When you right-click on a file, you have an option to "Add to 2ndBackup".

Once the file has been added to 2ndBackup, changed versions are automatically stored in an archive folder at the rate of one per minute for the last 60 minutes, one version every hour during one day, one version for every day in the last month, and one version per month forever. This provides you with access to nearly all previous versions of any file.
