A closer look at Clipomatic

As you copy text to the Clipboard, Clipomatic automatically saves the copied text to its cache. When you are ready to paste an item that was previously copied to the Clipboard, simply press a hotkey, and choose the text from a pop-up menu that appears. The most recently copied text clip is at the top of the list. You can choose selections from the menu by using either the mouse or keyboard shortcuts. You can set the maximum number of items that can be saved in Clipomatic's cache -- once the maximum number is reached, items at the bottom of the list fall out of the cache and are replaced by new ones coming in.

If you have text clips that you frequently use, you can save these to disk into a special "Clip Set" file which can be opened and re-used at any time. Clipomatic comes with a "Clip Set Editor" that makes it easy to edit these lists of clips.
