keeps your processor cool by enabling its power-saving features when idle.
DOSIdle is a command-line utility that executes the HLT command when your CPU is idle, which cools down the processor. This utility is useful if your CPU tends to overheat, especially if you are running it over-clocked. It runs under DOS or in a Windows 95/98 command prompt.
DOSidle will also detect and enable integrated fine tuning features of the processor to enhance the cache policy, enable 32-bit memory access where possible, unlock some bus cycles, and more, so as to achieve higher processor execution speed.
