Aladdin Expander is the only archive utility that supports Macintosh SIT (StuffIt) compressed format. It also supports ZIP, UUE (uuencoded), HQX (BinHex), BIN (MacBinary), ARC, ARJ, GZ (gzip), LHA, UNIX compress, TAR, Compact Pro, and Applelink formats. It can also expand self-extracting archives created with StuffIt, ZIP, and ARJ. Aladdin Expander supports long file names and works with MIME/Base64 encoded files. It can also join Macintosh-segmented archives.
