In depth
A closer look at Virtual Class
Virtual Class 5.0 is a real-time, interactive instruction, monitoring, and modeling system that emulates a class setting across a local area network (LAN), and combines hardware and software for a highly engaging and user-friendly virtual classroom experience. Teachers will find a wide range of electronic tools at their fingertips: they can broadcast their desktops across the network, remotely display the desktops of outstanding students to other class members, and model the steps of a task by taking direct control of any student computer in a lab. They can remotely install and uninstall software, easily block inapprorpriate web sites, remotely power up or power down any student computer, and quickly arrange their virtual classroom to correspond to actual seating. The optional Virtual Class keypad provides shortcuts to the most frequently used operations of the software and offers true plug and play functionality straight out of the box.
